Fibreworks is the name of a group of artists committed to fibre-based textile art forms such as weaving, knitting, embroidery, felting and quilting. The group encourages a mixed media approach to materials and welcomes the inclusion of related art forms such as graphics, painting and assemblage.

The innovative work of the Fibreworks group is on show in the main exhibition room of the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg until September 12.
