After twenty years of running the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery, Liz Johnstone has decided to take a break and has sold the gallery to friend and colleague Joy Reynolds.

“Joy and I date back to the Neil Sack Gallery days of the early 70’s when Gordon Lowings and Neil Sack were partners,” Liz says. “We both benefited from their knowledge and love of the arts. It was only natural that on Joy’s return to Durban in 1990, after living in Johannesburg and Hong Kong, that she became associated with the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery where we were able to utilise her expertise and talents.”

Joy is looking forward to taking the gallery into the future and sourcing fresh new talent on the art scene. “We will endeavour to give the excellent service always associated with the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery,” she says. ”I’d like to encourage arts lovers to pop in and browse as we are constantly sourcing new stock.”
