The Alliance Française opens a group show of oil pastel drawings in affiliation with the XIII International Aids Conference on July 3 at 14h30. The artists, who include Nkosinathi Jali, Khwesi Gule and Gabi Ngcobo will create approximately 40 drawings specifically for the exhibition approaching the subject with a bright outlook. The focus will be on hope, love and compassion, shifting away from the "horrors" of AIDS towards the "light." The organisers promise a collection of drawings rich in colour and movement.

The exhibition runs from July 3 to 9 in the Alliance’s gallery at 22 Sutton Crescent. For this exhibition, only, the venue will be open for weekend viewing.
