Having spent most of the past five years as HOD of Photography at Technikon Natal, it has taken Malcolm Lyle that long to accumulate sufficient new material to implement his latest exhibition of photographs. This will be on show at the Critical Moment Gallery, Technikon, Natal – City Campus, corner of Smith Street and Warwick Avenue during the month of June. Most of the images exhibited are the results of “push processing” (up rating film speed from 400 ISO to 3,200/6,400 ISO). This is something that photo-academics apparently claim is impossible!
