The landscape surrounding Prince Albert in the Karoo offers artists an unsurpassed painting experience. Dramatic lighting effects and expansive vistas provide inspiring and challenging subject matter for all levels. The majestic Swartberg Pass with its unusual rock formations is in itself a subject worthy of hours of study.

Convenors Christine Thomas and Elzane Steynberg will host a workshop led by Erik Laubscher to extend experienced landscape artists working in oils or acrylics. This will take place from May 22 to 24 in Prince Albert.
