For logistical reasons the Old Church Auction Gallery has decided to change sale days to Monday evenings - same time. This means that the sale scheduled for January 23 has been moved to January 28 at 17h00.

Items are still being added to the catalogue but there is plenty to view already on the website at www.oldchurch.co.za where you can view multiple images and download a catalogue and bidding forms if you cannot attend the sale.

South African art includes works by Adriaan Boshoff, Walter Battiss, W H Coetzer, Tinus de Jongh, Diamond Bozas, Paul Potgieter, Peter von Blommestein and many others. There is a strong focus on gold and diamond jewellery and watches including two solid gold Rolex dress watches, and diamond and platinum watches.

Other items include a rare collection of Bossons heads, early Zulu tribal artifacts, Royal Worcester, Doulton and other ceramics, Persian carpets, lighting, sterling silver and silver plate. Furniture includes a superb Victorian extending dining table with nearly matching chairs, flamed mahogany pedestal sideboard, folding burr walnut card tables, oval and circular loo and breakfast tables, French ormolu birds eye maple sideboard, Victorian linen press and lots more.
