The next meeting of the North Coast Art Group takes place in the La Lucia Library Hall on July 14 at 09h00 for 09h30.

The meeting will present a workshop by Catherine Stempofski titled From Charcoal To Memory. Those wishing to attend should take watercolours if they have them, otherwise small reasonably priced items will be available. Also take charcoal, A4 drawing paper and other sizes of your choice (Modigliani 90g will be on sale if required).

Catherine will talk about using poetry, healing energy and will move into the use of mind maps. She will also talk on how to "unblock" the mind when it is difficult to try and start a work. These workshops will be beneficial to any artist, whether working in watercolour, oils, acrylic or pastels.

Entrance is R20 (R10 NCAG members). The July 14 In House Competition is titled Something in the House. More information on the NCAG from Pearl Murray on 031 261 6070.
