Calling all artists! South Africa’s Community Arts Centres need a fresh, new eye-catching logo. The Department of Arts and Culture invites artists to design a distinctive logo that captures the vision, mission and the importance of these centres to the communities and win R15,000 in the process.

Just over 90 centres in all provinces are open to communities, art organisations and individuals to take part in artistic, craft and cultural activities. There are no limits to the designs and any drawing, painting or printing media can be used. Artists are advised to make the necessary copyright arrangements.

Courier or post original work accompanied by a narrative description by June 25.
