After more than a year when a devastating burglary forced the original venue to close, the Johannesburg-based Gallery111 has found new premises at Lancaster Square, 141 Roberts Ave, Kensington, Johannesburg,

The gallery supports emerging and established artists who work in all media. Experimental and innovative work is encouraged, particularly in digital and video art. The gallery, run by James de Villiers with help from various friends and artists, produces audio CDs and multimedia CDROM projects. Collaborative efforts between poets, musicians and artists are supported. Artists are invited to submit work for future individual and group shows.
