An exhibition titled Sticks and Stones … opens in Bean Bag Bohemia’s Reception Gallery on September 20.

A collaboration between Tamlyn Martin, Jacki Bruniquel and Brigitta Gaylard , it explores three artists’ personal experience of transformative embodiment through the use of self-portraiture. Works include interesting interpretations of the photographic medium, ranging from the use of video stills to a brutal use of digital and physical manipulation.

Sticks and Stones … opens on September 20 at 18h00 to run until October 20. More information from curator Tamlyn Martin on 084 585 5995.
