Opening on January 26 in the Tatham Art Gallery's West Gallery is Beyond the Prison Walls, an exhibition of art work from sentenced offenders from KZN. Organised by Nicro, the exhibition gives the public a rare opportunity to view the art and craft that is normally seen only inside prison.

Nicro has been running a creative-arts-in-prison project since 1998, with an annual competition, and this exhibition showcases the winners. The exhibition runs until March 12. Gallery hours 10h00 to 18h00 Tuesday to Friday.
