Thomas More College in Kloof introduces an exciting new Cultural Programme in the High School in 2006.

A 50 minute period has been timetabled weekly to expose all students (Grades 8 to 12) to a variety of cultural activities. Performances in Drama, Music and Dance as well as Art exhibitions, lecture/demonstrations and Poetry readings will be included to make this experience as diverse as possible.

The aim of the programme is to foster an understanding of a variety of disciplines as well as to train a theatre-going audience. It will also provide a platform for local performers and artists who want exposure to the youth of Durban.

Anyone wishing to contribute to this programme in any way, or requiring further information, should contact Dawn Haynes at 083 564 2929 or e-mail: haynesro@netactive.co.za
