Chinese Whispers is an exhibition by Terrence Patrick to open on September 12 at 18h30 at artSPACE durban.

The work sometimes has Allegorical or Symbolist intentions, which Terrence likes to define as 'magical realism'. He strives towards the condition of music, dance and poetry and the work is often ironic, erotic or comic. He has painted all his adult life and considers the late Durban artist and poet Willie Chalmers his most important influence.

The exhibition will show mainly paintings or drawings representative of the last ten years or so.

The artist Mduduzi Xakaza will open the exhibition which will run until October 1. More information on 031 312 0793.
