Last month, the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg held a Paintathon where artists produced work in a joint project between the Tatham and Justice and Women (Jaw) to brighten up the areas of the court where maintenance matters are handled.

The 37 works on display come from a wide variety of artists and will be on display until September 18 when the pieces will be moved to their permanent home in the Magistrates' Court building.
