Running in the Tatham Art Gallery's ceramics room is an exhibition, coinciding with and forming part of the international conference on Dress in Southern Africa that recently ran on the University of KwaZulu-Natal Pietermaritzburg campus.

The exhibition puts the subject matter of a number of the conference papers on display, showing distinctive types of cloth, beads and other material and their transformation into dress.
