artSPACEdurban is to host an exhibition by three prominent KwaZulu-Natal artists: Langa Magwa, Zama Dunywa, and Lindelani Ngwenya who specialise in sculpture, painting and mixed media.

Exhibiting together for the second time, Langa, Zama, and Lindelani will present mostly sculptural works of mixed media that include wire, metal, wood, rubber, aluminium and copper. Copper dominates the show with a range of two-dimensional works on paper and canvas.

The theme of the exhibition is containers. The artists aim to fully explore the idea of a container (containing and being contained) within their cultural context as artists, human beings, and individuals.

The exhibition runs from July 4 to 16. More information from Karen Bradtke at artSPACEdurban on 031 312 0793.
