Running until July 1 in the BAT Centre’s Menzi Mcunu Gallery is a photographic exhibition titled Through My Eye which forms part of the BAT Centre's Youth Day Celebrations.

Sponsored by the Provincial Department of Arts, Culture and Tourism, 15 children from the street children's shelter in Inanda participated in a weeklong workshop and were issued with disposable cameras to capture images from their lives.

The photographs showcase a new media for these children and youth and are a vibrant and striking comment on the hidden lives of the homeless in Durban.
