Art lover Steve Mandy has opened his own gallery at 238 Frere Road, calling it – appropriately – Gallery 238.

There is a wide range of work on offer including pieces by Lee Scott Hempson who is about to exhibit at Grillroom Café in Innes Road. The first exhibition opening on June 4 and running to July 3 will feature large scale oil paintings by Marcelle Gilson. (See separate articles for both stories)

Steve Mandy also conducts art classes from Gallery 238. Contact him on 082 441 2922 or e-mail: stevemandy@liblink.co.za
