An initiative to encourage new developments in the arts arena, ColaborArt is considered by many to be simply the most entertaining, eclectic, art happening on the South Coast.

The emphasis is on progressive, challenging and ‘non-commercial’ arts and events take place every three months.

This well-supported event pushes onto its ninth collective showing at the Margate Art Museum on May 28 starting at 18h00 sharp.

Expect fusion art, performance art, action art, conceptual art, sculpture, painting, poetry readings, music, singing, photography, dance and movement. Art forms presented on the night will be a sample of what are the latest, greatest and most unrestricted pieces around … Spectators are more than welcome!

Anyone interested in exhibiting or attending this showing of ColaborArt should contact Mark on 082 818 4552 or email: avante@venturenet.co.za or contact Clare on 082 336 8133 for further information.

ColaborArt is non-profit and a donation of R5 is suggested to cover costs. Bring picnic baskets and a cushion to sit on to enjoy this informal candlelit evening.
