The photographic exhibition, Surviving the Lens currently on exhibition at the Durban Art Gallery, has received such a positive response from the public that it will return in April.

Surviving the Lens comprises 50 photographs portraying Africa's diverse cultures taken in the period 1870-1920. The exhibition has been curated by Michael Stevenson and Michael Graham-Stewart who have also produced a book with the same title.

The exhibition will close on February 25 but will return to the Durban Art Gallery on April 19 for a further showing.
