The public is invited to view original work by final year Jewellery Design Department students of the Durban Institute of Technology in an exhibition to be hosted by the DIT Gallery, Steve Biko Campus.

Accompanying this glittering craftmanship will be the highly-sought after Anglo Gold Riches of Africa: Gold Jewellery Collection 2004.

The stimulation of innovative gold jewellery design in South Africa is one of AngloGold's key objectives in establishing the annual competition and a wide range of prizes and bursaries are awarded in the various categories. To complement this dazzling exhibition, a glossy full-colour and illustrated catalogue together with a poster will be available for free on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The exhibition runs from November 9 to 12. Gallery Hours hours are Monday to Thursday 08h30-16h30 and Friday 8h30-15h00. The Gallery, physically accessible by wheelchair via the S-Block entrances, aims to make its programmes and activities accessible from a seated position. Free and secure parking bays are available at Gate 2, 3 and 4 through Mansfield Road.
