From October 5 at 18h00, the NSA’s Park Gallery will host a group exhibition titled Black. This is a group exhibition that critically evaluates the progress made during South Africa’s first decade of democracy by representing socio-political issues as seen though the eyes of the invited artists. Black attempts to celebrate the diverse creative cultural spirit that exists within the art of selected artists from Durban, KwaZulu Natal.

Participating artists are Zama Dunywa, Lindelani Ngwenya, Irvin Nkwanyana, Themba Shibase, Paul Sibisi and Themba Siwela.

The exhibition closes on October 24 at noon. More information from Storm Janse van Rensburg or Nathi Gumede at the NSA, 166 Bulwer Road, Glenwood, Durban, or phone 031 202-3696, fax 031 201-8051 or e-mail: curator@nsagallery.co.za
