Ceramics South Africa is the annual exhibition of The Natal Region of Ceramics Southern Africa (CSA Natal, formerly APSA) currently running at the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg.

This organisation was started over 30 years ago with workshops and exhibitions to promote clay art and craft throughout the country. A few years ago an outreach programme was started at the BAT Centre in Durban to help upcoming ceramic artists from rural areas. More recently, ceramic classes were introduced at the AIDS Centre in Hillcrest.

A quarterly magazine informs the members of all activities aorund the country and contains articles about artists and exhibitions. For this exhibition, members have been invited to enter up to five pieces for selection.

Ceramics South Africa closes on October 17. The Tatham Art Galery is opposite the City Hall in Commercial Road, Pietermaritzburg. More information on 033 342 1804.
