The West Gallery of Pietermaritzburg’s Tatham Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition by John Godlonton from May 20 to June 27.

John Godlonton, who is a passionate collector of weird and wonderful art pieces, is also a busy professional who creates art and craft in his free time as a form of stress release. He is particularly fond of Outsider Art, which can be described as non-commercial works in which the artist often makes use of found objects. He was approached by the Gallery which has put together works from his collection with some of his own creations for this exhibition.
