The Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg is currently hosting KwaZulu–Natal Matric Art. Running until June 13 in the Main Exhibition Room, this ever-popular exhibition is a showcase for grade 12 art work done in schools within the province of KwaZulu–Natal.

Selected works from last year’s matric classes are supplemented with numbers of new pieces by this year’s matrics. Besides conventional sculptures, drawings, paintings and prints, visitors may find photographs, computer generated images, fabric art, items made from found objects and other interesting works.
