The Cupboard Gallery, Home is exhibiting pieces by Kate Klusener from her second and final years of Textile Design at the Durban Institute of Technology. Her main focus is on functional art, mainly lighting where she uses a combination of materials to achieve interesting textures and shapes in lights. These lights vary from wall and hanging to standing; bright and colourful to a more natural feel.

Compounding a wide range of materials into individual pieces, she has created an exciting style of her own.

Her work will be on exhibition at the Cupboard Gallery until April 11.
