Sally Ann Boshoff will run a three-day photography course at Butterflies for Africa in Pietermaritzburg. This will be for beginners with 35mm SLR Cameras who have technical photographic knowledge and are 12 years of age or older. This course could introduce a stimulating new hobby - or perhaps provide the inspiration to explore a new career path option.

Topics covered in the course will be: the anatomy of a camera, different lenses and filters, different film and application, aperture, shutter speed and composition, camera accessories and flash photography.

Close up photography will take place in the butterfly conservatory at Butterflies for Africa.

Students must bring their own 35mm SLR cameras and own film (36). The course costs R350 and takes place on November 29 and 30 and on December 6.
