Well-known KZN artist, Langa Magwa has given a donation of his work to the Durban Art Gallery which already has other works by the artist in the permanent collection.

In his letter of donation Langa Magwa writes that “This gift is a token of appreciation towards the Durban Art Gallery for their efforts in uplifting and encouraging young artists in and around eThekwini also giving them a chance to showcase their works in the Gallery, in one way or another.”

“This is an exceptional donation and a wonderful gesture by a young artist to encourage his community¹s art activities,” reports the DAG’s publication DagMag. The work will be on view in the New Acquisitions Exhibition in July this year.
