The Durban Institute of Technology invites artists to “splash their artistic talent all over a huge blank wall.”

The “wall” in question is made up of three massive city-facing facades of the Steve Biko Campus. Artists are invited to submit designs for all three panels using a variety of artistic media.

For the successful artist this would be exposure at the highest level as the facades are clearly visible from Berea Road. The winning designer will receive R10,000 in prize money and his/her designs will be transferred onto the facades and unveiled amid intense media exposure.

More information and entry forms from the department of public affairs, PO Box 1334, Durban, 4001, or phone 031 308 6833. The closing date for entries is April 17.
