Here's an answer to those who are wary of spending a fair amount on an artwork, worried that they may grow tired of it as time goes on.

You can enjoy a delicious meal from one of Grillroomcafé's menu while gazing at the works on Art Seen and - providing someone doesn't come along and snatch up the work of your choice - see if it grows on you.

In August 1998, the Grillroomcafé opened Art Seen with an exhibition of works by Deanne Donaldson. The response to viewing and buying art in an informal environment has prompted further expansion by providing the public with a cross-section of works from 20 of KZN's finest local artists.

The exhibition will be a constantly-changing one showing, at intervals, works by artists such as Andrew Verster, Pascale Chandler, Tito Zungu, Andries Botha, Jenny Cullinan, John Roome, Grace Kotze, Bronwen Findlay and Lene Tempelhoff.

The Grillroomcafe is at 465 Innes Road (opposite Mitchell Park) and is open Tuesday to Friday (12h00-22h00) and Saturday and Sunday (10h00-22h00).
