The popular cabaret Paint the Town, starring singers Helen Vermaak and Sandra Styles will be back at the Hexagon Dive on the 4th and 5th May. This delightful show takes a wacky, tongue-in-cheek dig at women and men and the drudgery and romance of relationships, as seen from a female perspective. Songs include old favourites like All that Jazz, Matchmaker, and I Cain’t say No, as well as lesser known numbers such as Kids!, Lost in the Stars and Stepsister's Lament.

With Helen Vermaak’s classical style and Sandra Styles’ feel for jazz, director Peter Mitchell uses the two singers' versatility to create a slick, polished performance that is amusing and moving. Two of Pietermaritzburg’s top professional singers, their shows are always in demand for conferences and corporate events.

Tickets for Thursday’s are R20 and the format is a picnic evening, whereby audiences are invited to bring their own refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Tickets for Friday's performance are R55 and include a three-course dinner. Tables seat 4, 6 and 8.
