Durban North photographer Ray Roberts has every right to be proud of is daughter.

In eight short months, Durban performer Cherise Roberts has made considerable strides in her career. She appeared in the Barnyard Theatre Gateway’s production of Roll Over Beethoven in April and went on to perform at Monte Casino with Clinton Philander in Hits of the 80’s.

When Shelley McLean (currently appearing in the smash hit Nunsense at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre) left Piano Boys at the Barnyard in Cresta, Cherise took over from her. She won R3,000 at the Nissan Micra Launch and has performed with Francois Hardy of Equinox fame.
