At the opening of the Pieter-Dirk Uys show earlier in the year, the artSMart team enjoyed a Platter Box from Picnic Fanatics.

The fresh finger food is beautifully set out and garnished within a flat cardboard box which is accompanied by two smart plastic plates and paper napkins, attractively packaged with raffia and greenery. Each platter feeds two people and nothing need be returned.

There are two options – a Picnic Platter (only in box platter format) and a Dessert & Cheese Box.

The Picnic Platter includes an impressive range of items: Thai Chicken Balls with Sweet Chili sauce; Pastry Wheels (Peppadew, Feta & Pesto); Angels on Horseback; Herb Stuffed Tomatoes; Sweet Chili Grilled mini Chicken Kebabs; Fresh Veggie Sticks; Salty Breadsticks; Feta & Herb Dip; Spicy Potato Samoosas; Rye Bread with Beef Fillet & Mustard; Feta Stuffed Peppadews, and Dried Mango slices & Olives. Cost R98 per platter (i.e. R49 pp).

The Dessert & Cheese Box contains a selection of homemade dessert items, cheeseboard & biscuits, stylishly packaged (raffia, greenery, etc) and garnished, in a mini basket with cellophane, to round off the meal! The box includes Famous Chocolate Brownies; Peanut & Coffee Biscotti; Traditional Speculaas; Chocolate Rum Truffles; Camembert & Cheddar; Kiri Cream cheese; Slices of Dried Mango & Green Fig and a selection of Saltibiscuits. Cost R54 per box (i.e. R27 pp)
