During the festive season the Playhouse Cellar will host a musical tribute titled The Police and Sting.

Darryl Swart, producer and drummer, said the most popular and best songs of the Police and Sting repertoire will be presented in an energetic showcase of Police energy with the Sting emotion and romanticism and will include plenty of ”Sing-a-long” time.

The show will feature a five-piece band: Darryl Swart (who played drums for Tree 63), Ian Henderson, Darren Richter and Mike McCauley with Esjay (who recently released a cd of her music) on female vocals and guitar. The programme includes songs such as Roxanne and Every Breath you Take and promises to bring back fond memories for many fans of the groups.

The Police and Sting runs from December 9 to end January. Book at Computicket. Bookings for groups of 20 or more through Sharon on 083 486 3271.
