Direct from the Natal Witness Hilton Arts Festival, Karen Campbell-Gillies will presents Storm in a D-Cup at Rhumbelow Theatre. This stylish, witty cabaret features the music of the sophisticated eras of the jazz singers.

The show is written by Patrick Hyland, author of a seemingly never-ending series of scurrilous adult performances.

In describing the production Patrick explains the focus on jazz singers: “Throughout mankind’s history they have inspired poetry, literature, song …. and the occasional brief skirmish! They are shrouded in mystery, intrigue… and various inexplicable under garments. They are lusted after and desired in every shape or form. Join the bouncy, pert and astonishingly well-endowed Karen for a rollicking, bodice-ripping (but strangely uplifting) exposè of breast, mammaries, “boobs”, “jugs”, “tits”, “the hooters” and the men who want them as well as the woman who wear them…. !”

Shows take place on October 3 and 4 at 20h30 and on October 5 at 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.

Tickets R40. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
