The Royal Hotel’s Backstage supper theatre venue heads towards year-end with a cabaret suitable for all ages. Taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane is Melanie Roberts in her new show which is a sentimental, funny and light-hearted cabaret titled Nostalgically Yours.

This magical musical collage of medleys and new arrangements also features velvet-voiced Carol Trench and the show marks the first time Melanie and Carol have worked on stage together. They will be accompanied by “Mr Piano” himself, well-known performer Evan Roberts.

This sophisticated trio’s piano and voice adaptation of familiar songs takes audiences from one era to the next - 1930's to now – and promises to be a relaxed, evening of nostalgia. The programme includes music from the movies, highlights from musical theatre, swing, pop, jazz, "soul" anthems of the 70's, songs from the war years and more!

Nostalgically Yours will include classic numbers such as Somewhere over the Rainbow, Can you feel the love tonight, Circle of Love, Somewhere out there, Life is just a Bowl of Cherries and more!
