Evita & Co, which runs at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway from March 11 to 15, is a dangerous combination of Pieter-Dirk Uys and Evita Bezuidenhout, but hopefully not at the same time.

While Tannie is still finding her way to The Barnyard, Pieter-Dirk Uys will trot out his chorusline of politicians, comrades, warmongers and fools. After interval, Mrs Bezuidenhout will try and repair the damage.

There will only be five performances of Evita & Co (Tuesday to Saturday) so patrons are urged to book early. Tickets are R80 per person with no discounted shows.

For bookings and enquiries, phone The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway on 031 – 566 3045, e-mail barngate@mweb.co.za or visit www.barnyardtheatre.co.za for more information.

For added appreciation of the performance by Pieter-Dirk Uys’s (and Evita’s, of course!), read his new book Elections & Erections, reviewed on the Literature pages.
