Fringe Benefits was first presented in London by major exponents of the farce genre, Ray Cooney and Brian Rix. The script deals with two men who decide that they aren’t getting enough fringe benefits from their jobs so they decide to remedy the situation – and the first step is to get rid of their wives for a while. But their temporary sexual freedom is severely curtailed as, in true farce style, the chaos that ensues is fast and furious with a pair of kippers adding to the confusion!

Presented as a supper theatre format, Fringe Benefits has repeat performances this week from October 21 to 24 at 19h00 for 19h30 (Sunday show at 18h00) in the Kloof Town Hall. Tickets at R45 include a two-course meal. Book at Cottofields in the Kloof Village Mall on (031) 764-0255.
