The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway has received a nomination into the initial stages of the Institute of Marketing Management in KZN's annual awards. The Barnyard is the first theatre in KZN and arguably in South Africa to receive this recognition for its marketing initiatives.

The Barnyard now has to make a submission of information to the IMM from which the finalists in the IMM's KZN Marketing Organisation of the Year will be selected.
