Currently on his 2002 Laughter to the People national tour, Barry Hilton (The Cousin) will perform six shows only at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway from September 24 to 29.

One of South Africa’s premier stand-up comedians, his material is unique and he has captured the hearts of South Africans with his brand of original South African humour which appeals to all ages. The sell-out attendances at The Cousin tour shows are proof of the popularity of what is arguably the “cleanest” stand-up comedian currently performing in South Africa.

Last year Hilton performed over 75 sold-out shows in his thecousin.com national tour to over 35,000 people in theatres all over South Africa. In addition to his sold-out Laughter to the People tour, he undertook a European tour in April this year where he performed further sold-out shows in England, France, Wales, The Channel Islands, Holland and Ireland. He plans to return to the United Kingdom in December for more shows.

Barry Hilton souvenir merchandise will be on sale at all six shows at The Barnyard Theatre. This includes his Here We Go Again and Live and Switched On live videos and compact discs, together with souvenir clothing. “The Cousin” will also be available to sign autographs for KZN comedy fans.

Tickets R70 and unfortunately there will be no discounted shows. Bookings and enquiries on 031 566-3045/6, e-mail barngate@mweb.co.za or visit www.barnyardtheatre.co.za
