NB: as of 23 September 2008, all new artSMart articles are being published on the site news.artsmart.co.za. The organisers of Millennium Meltdown the current show at the Langoustine by the Stage are offering a free bottle of wine for every table of four booked to see this high-energy new show which runs until October 17. “This show works best when enjoyed with a few mates, so we are encouraging patrons to book tables of at least four people to share together the nostalgia and memories from not-so-long-ago,” says a representative of the organisation. Paying tribute to the music of the 80’s and 90’s, Millennium Meltdown is devised and written by Duncan Royce and Kate Bruce. It features the singing and acting talents of Kate together with Liesl Coppin, Tim Wells, Percy Smith and special guest appearance by "The Computer" (see review on this website in this section) Tickets, which include a three-course meal, can be booked through the Langoustine on (031) 563-7324 (ask for Lisa Todd) or via Computicket. Or save half of your booking costs and book directly on the internet at http://www.computicket.com.
