Rhumbelow Theatre will host more than one production this month. Apart from the Spanish guitar duo in Full Circle, there’ll be One Margherita Please written and directed by award winning writer Dennis Rubin, 2001 recipient of the Lakhani Award.

One Margherita Please marks a first for Rhumbelow, being a presentation of drama and not its normal musical cabaret reviews. The show tells the compelling story of an aging actor played by Dennis Schauffer and a psychotic, yet charming pizza delivery boy played by Liam Magner. The two unlikely people are drawn together for one horrific night. The plot twists and turns and a cruel twist provides riveting and suspense-filled drama.

This production, which recently opened the NOT The Grahamstown Festival, will have performances on August 9 and 10 at 19h00 for 19h30. There will be no Sunday show (August 11).

Tickets R40. Audiences are invited to bring food picnic baskets. There is a cash bar available and braais will be going for those wishing to cook some meat.
