The long-awaited, highly-acclaimed and much-talked about Cadenza comes to the Playhouse Cellar for a season which will run from April 6 to 25.

Chaos in the Classics!, directed by Ian von Memerty and featuring the vocal talents of Rory Rootenberg, is funny, clever and highly enjoyable. While the show will appeal to all, those in the business of studying or making music will doubly appreciate the cleverness of the script and the general presentation.

Cadenza has performed in most venues around South Africa and has been dubbed a runaway success. A sequel was recently premiered in Johannesburg.

The show is particularly designed to present Rory Rootenberg's remarkable range in a variety of song from operatic arias through to Afrikaans liedjies and Zulu ballads.
