Let’s Misbehave with Anthony Stonier, Carol Trench and Evan Roberts had two successful runs at the Playhouse Backstage twice last year and was sold out at the Hilton Arts Festival. Those who missed this highly enjoyable production can see it at the Rhumbelow Shellhole Theatre in Umbilo and at St Mary’s DSG in Kloof before it heads for a season at the Cape Town Festival.

Presented by Sue Clarence Promotions, Let’s Misbehave will appear at Rhumbelow from March 1 to 3. Bookings through Roland on 082 499-8636. The show then moves to The Studio at St Mary’s DSG in Kloof for two performances on March 7 and 8. Bookings through Sue on 082 882-9869.

The show is devised by the cast with Anthony Stonier and Evan Roberts on piano and Carol Trench (last seen in Alice in Zululand) as featured vocalist. Let’s Misbehave is a slick and witty revue that takes a musical journey through the delights, pitfalls, joys and woes that result from misbehaving …in all its forms!

Using two pianos - back to back – the show includes songs by Cole Porter, Noel Coward, Sondheim and Tom Lehrer, to name a few. The lyrics of Let’s Do It and Mrs Balls are original and written by the cast. The mood is deliciously naughty, filled with double entendre and designed for a sophisticated audience of any age.

After Cape Town, the show goes on to perform at a supper theatre in Johannesburg in May and at the Maitisong Festival in Botswana in April.
