Much-loved entertainer and raconteur Peter Maxwell is performing in the Playhouse Cellar for two weeks. His show will include some new numbers but regulars can be sure that he will play many of the numbers that have made him legendary in Durban since he started performing at the old Edward Hotel more than 20 years ago. This is the man who told an apathetic Durban a few years ago to “Wake Up! You are living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world!” He is a tonic, ever-full of energy and witty remarks.

The next show up in the Cellar is Serendipity, Drummond Marais’s latest production. See review in “Festivals”.
