Cabaret stars Lisa Bobbert and Tonya Koenderman have been friends since their school days at Rosebank Convent. Some 25 years later, they figured it was time to do a show together, one which celebrated their friendship that had survived through heartbreak, tragedy, and highs and lows in their careers. The Convent Girls is a lighthearted look at their lives; similarities and differences. They lovingly poke fun at each other whilst remaining highly respectful of each other's talent, despite the competitiveness of show business.

With cheeky songs such as Bette Midler's Otto Titsling or He Had It Coming from Chicago, they combine their unique talents to be a force to be reckoned with. In true sassy style, they belt out favourites such as Mack The Knife, Meadowlands, Pata Pata, New York New York, and When You're Good to Mama. They tease, they insult, they mock, but all is done with a loving affection and bond that has grown unbreakable over 25 years of friendship.
