The next attraction to be staged at the Royal Hotel's supper theatre, Backstage, Grumpy Old Men combines comedy and music with a line-up of some of South Africa's most polished performers.

Comedy legends Tony Stewart and Cy Saks are well known from early cabaret days and of course from the SABC hit Biltong and Potroast. Both work regularly on Joe Parker's increasingly popular Comedy Express. They are joined by two versatile performers - Derek Denniss and Brian Alexander. The light hearted and fun production promises a delightful evening of entertainment that will appeal to all ages.

The show has a short run from August 23 to 26 and booking is essential. Ticket price of R120 pp includes a sumptuous three course meal.

On August 27, there will be a lunch-time performance by Joe Parker and Friends. One of South Africa's most popular comedians, Parker's one-off act is sure to be a hit with Durban audiences. Ticket price of R110 pp is again inclusive of a Royal three-course meal.
