Club de Vie at Le Domaine in 100 Acutts Drive (off Inanda Road) in Hillcrest

On September 16, a fine Dining-and-Dance Evening will include a three-course plated menu. Tony Muirhead and a three-piece band called 3 Up will play dance music such as the fox trot , waltz, jive, cha-cha, etc . This is not the typical ballroom dancing night, but rather a blast from the past where couples could dress up and be treated to an elegant evening of dancing and dining. The cost is R100 pp.

On September 20, Club de Vie will host Gentle On My Mind at 19h00. As the title suggests this is music to soothe the soul! Sophisticated and classy, Centrefold will perform some of the best ballads in three part harmony from Patsi Cline’s Crazy and Will Young’s Leave Right Now to the Latin vibe of Volare and the jazzy Girl From Ipanema. The selection of smooth sounds will be linked with interesting trivia, poems and humour. Gentle On My Mind is the ideal way to wind down after a hectic day. Cost is R55pp per show ticket only (R95pp for show and two-course dinner).

Bookings are essential for both functions as there is limited seating. Contact Di Ward on 031 716 8000.

(Activities at Club de Vie are restricted to the over-40’s!)
