The 80-piece Long Island Youth Orchestra will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Durban-Berea in a single concert to be held at 19h00 on July 24 at Durban High School, St Thomas Road. The orchestra is directed by Martin Dreiwitz who founded the group in 1962. Since then, the orchestra has performed at the White House in 1995 before President Clinton and has played a rich variety of orchestral works all over the world.
