Sifiso and Pinkie Khuzwayo are the new owners of Upstage at the Playhouse (formerly Legends), managed by Moses Mthembu. The venue is targeted at young executives to middle age (teeny-boppers will not be welcome).

Their line-up promises jazz greats such as Hugh Masekela, Victor Ntoni, Vusi Mahlasela, Taiwa Molekekwa and Busi Mhlongo.

Pinkie's brother Eugene Skeef, produces music for BBC and directed Pavarotti's War Child musical. "Our home was a thriving place for jazz artists," says Pinkie.

The Malawi chef will serve a continental buffet with diverse recipes from as far as Ethiopia, Ghana and Cameroon. Live shows will take place every Wednesday and Sunday evenings.
